EN 81-20 Compliance Notes
Every observation elevator we manufacture follows the safety requirements of EN 81-20 and EN 81-50: laminated safety glass panels engineered for the mechanical strength requirements of glass cabin walls, protective light curtains on automatic doors, progressive safety gear and overspeed governor protection, and pit, headroom and maintenance access designed to the standard. For exterior installations, wind load, thermal expansion and water ingress protection are additionally evaluated during project engineering.
