Arkel ARMAXX All-in-One Lift Control Unit
ARMAXX is Arkel’s all-in-one unit: UPS and battery, inverter and control card in one enclosure, with GSM, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity and a contactorless STO drive.
Description
ARMAXX is Arkel’s newest lift control unit and the only one in the range that is genuinely all-in-one: the UPS and battery, the VVVF inverter and the control card are inside a single enclosure. On a conventional installation the rescue supply is a separate box that has to be sized, mounted and wired; here it is part of the unit.
What that changes on site
Fewer connecting cables, one enclosure to position instead of two or three, and an emergency rescue system that is commissioned with the rest of the lift rather than after it. The motor drive is contactorless with an STO function, so the motor circuit opens electronically instead of through power contactors.
Remote access
ARMAXX carries GSM, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity with a mobile application interface. This is the part of the range where Arkel has put its IoT work, and it is the practical difference against ARCUBE, which is a monoblock without integrated rescue supply, and against ARCODE, which is the unit for large buildings — 64 stops, 4 m/s, groups of eight.
Sizes and honest limits
ARMAXX MRL-1 comes in two widths. Type B covers 10 A, 14 A, 17 A and 26 A at 2,100 × 250 × 210 mm; Type C covers 35 A and 50 A at 2,100 × 275 × 210 mm — so ARMAXX reaches a higher current class than ARCUBE does. Arkel does not publish a maximum stop count or rated speed for ARMAXX, and we will not invent one: those figures should be confirmed against the project before ordering. The software and hardware are modular, and the unit is declared to EN 81-1/2+A3, EN 81-20 and EN 81-28. Nazar Elevator supplies ARMAXX as a component and inside complete traction elevator systems.

Arkel does not publish a stop count or a rated speed for ARMAXX. Rather than repeat a figure from another product, we ask for the project data and confirm it with the manufacturer.

Yes. GSM, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity and a mobile application interface are part of the product. What is actually monitored depends on the package agreed at order.
