Aybey AE-MAESTRO Integrated Lift Controller
AE-MAESTRO combines the lift controller and the VVVF motor drive in one contactorless device, 3 to 30 kW, for up to 64 stops and groups of up to eight lifts.
Description
AE-MAESTRO is a compact integrated lift controller: the control system and the VVVF drive sit in a single device rather than as two units wired together. The EMC filter, the DC choke coil and the rescue-system isolating circuits are built in.
Why an integrated unit instead of controller plus drive
Two separate boxes mean an interface between them: a wiring loom, two sets of parameters, two firmware versions and a boundary where responsibility gets debated when something misbehaves. An integrated unit removes that boundary. It also removes the separate EMC filter and choke coil that otherwise have to be sized, ordered and found room for in the panel. The trade-off is flexibility: you cannot mix a preferred controller with a different drive.
Traffic and installation scope
The unit operates up to 64 stops and supports simplex, duplex, triplex and groups of up to eight lifts. Shaft communication is car-serial or full-serial. Positioning is distance-based with encoder, and SSI, EnDat, SinCos and BISS encoders are read for synchronous machines. Mounting covers machine-room, machine-roomless and door-frame applications.
Standards and access
AE-MAESTRO is declared in conformity with EN 81-20 and EN 81-50, and with EN 81-1, EN 81-1+A3, EN 81-21, EN 81-28, EN 81-70, EN 81-72 and EN 81-73. USB and Ethernet interfaces are on board, with remote access over the internet and an optional TFT hand terminal. Like the traction machines we supply, it is quoted against the actual machine and project data rather than from a catalogue line.

Frequently Asked Questions
An integrated unit puts the control system and the VVVF drive in one enclosure with one parameter set and one firmware. A separate drive gives freedom to combine brands but adds an interface, extra wiring and a second set of settings.
Up to eight lifts in a group, with simplex, duplex and triplex arrangements also supported. The unit handles up to 64 stops.
No. The RFI filter and the DC choke coil are inside the device, which is one of the practical reasons to choose an integrated unit for a tight panel.
Yes. Machine-room, machine-roomless and door-frame mounting are all covered. The mounting choice affects cabling and access, so it should be fixed early in the project.
