Metroplast MT 24-100 Gearless Elevator Traction Machine

Metroplast MT 24-100 gearless elevator traction machine is developed for modern passenger, service and goods lift applications where quiet travel, energy efficiency and compact installation are required. Its permanent-magnet synchronous motor structure eliminates the need for a gearbox, helping to reduce mechanical losses, vibration and maintenance requirements. The machine is suitable for machine-room and machine-room-less elevator layouts and is generally applied with 2:1 suspension. This model is positioned for 320–630 kg rated duty range, 240 mm traction sheave configuration and 1.0–1.6 m/s speed class, subject to shaft layout, car weight, counterweight ratio and project calculations. Metroplast gearless machines are promoted for compliance with the 2014/33/EU Lift Directive and EN 81-20/50 requirements. For reliable levelling and comfortable travel, compatible encoder options such as SinCos or EnDat can be selected according to the controller and inverter package.
